From February 26 to February 29, 2020, in Sofia, the Bulgarian Ju Jitsu Federation hosted a workshop organized by JJIF. The meeting took place in two parts - a working group on the future development of Self Protection, led by Prof. Tomo Borisov - Chairman of the Department of Self Protection and Education at JJIF and President of the Bulgarian Ju Jitsu Federation, and a working group on detailing the procedures for awarding awards and honorary black belts, led by Joachim Trumfart - General Director of JJIF. The President of JJIF, Mr. Panagiotis Theodoropoulos, also took part in the meetings of the working groups. Experts from Germany, Belgium, Bulgaria, Ukraine and India were present. All experts received diplomas for JJIF Self Protection Institutes.
On the Bulgarian side, Tomo Borisov, Tony Petrov, Krum Krumov and Radoslav Markov were awarded JJIF Self Protection Instructor Diplomas.
